The College library follows the Open Access System,
allowing students direct access to the collection.
Strict silence shall be maintained in the library
premises at all times.
Students are encouraged to utilize the library resources during all
working hours.
Library Rules and Regulations
Each student receives book issue tokens as per the institutional
rules.
Reference books are strictly for in-library use and
should not be taken out.
Students must ensure that books are returned on or before the
specified due date.
Any form of marking, underlining, or damaging of library books is
strictly prohibited.
Books must be returned in the same
good condition as they were issued.
Late returns will incur a nominal fine per day as per the current
policy.
Lost or heavily damaged books must be replaced or paid for by the
responsible student.
Every entry to the library must be recorded in the register by both
staff and students.
Laboratory Rules and Regulations
Students are permitted to perform only those experiments authorized
by the supervising staff.
Any misuse of chemicals, reagents, or scientific instruments is a
punishable offense.
Scientific apparatus must be handled with extreme
care and precision.
All breakages or malfunctions must be reported immediately to the
laboratory staff.
Damaged items resulting from negligence must be replaced by the
student responsible.
Students are required to maintain
neat and accurate practical records.
All required practical work must be certified before appearing for
the final examinations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The bonafide certificate for
practical work will be issued only if the student’s attendance and
performance in the laboratory are found to be highly satisfactory.
